About the role
You will own HR end to end for a growing software team: people operations, policy and compliance, and hiring for technical roles. You will work directly with leadership and the tech leads.
People operations
- Run the employee lifecycle: joining, onboarding, confirmation, engagement and exits.
- Write and maintain HR policies, SOPs and employee records.
- Manage attendance, leave, payroll coordination and labour compliance.
- Handle employee questions, concerns and grievances.
- Run performance cycles, appraisals and HR reporting.
- Lead engagement and culture work.
Hiring for software roles
- Run end-to-end hiring for development and technical roles.
- Source through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals and our own database.
- Screen candidates and coordinate technical rounds.
- Close positions with tech leads and management.
- Handle offers, negotiation and onboarding.
Planning and reporting
- Support workforce planning and hiring strategy.
- Build the employer brand and hiring process.
- Keep HR dashboards and hiring metrics current.
What you need
- 3 to 5+ years in HR operations at a software or tech company.
- Hands-on generalist HR experience.
- Experience hiring for software and IT roles.
- Working knowledge of HR policy, payroll coordination and labour compliance.
- HRMS and applicant tracking tools.
- An MBA in HR or a related field.
Nice to have
- Experience at a software product, ed-tech or technology services company.
- Startup or growth-stage experience.
